Trish Henry is a senior and respected legal advisor and decision maker. She has been a board and committee member and has experience in driving consensus, governance and mediating disputes in a commercial context.
Trish is an independent Code Mediator under the Food & Grocery Industry Code of Conduct, having been appointed by Woolworths in early 2025. She is a former judge of the Equity Division of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and was a partner of the commercial law firm, King & Wood Mallesons, for over 20 years.
During her time as a judge, Trish dealt with a range of cases. She was a member of the Law Admissions Consultative Committee and the Foreign Lawyers Working Group of the Legal Services Council and a regular speaker at the Bar Practice Course on Alternative Dispute Resolution.
At King & Wood Mallesons, Trish specialised in regulatory and commercial law disputes and held a number of leadership roles at the firm, including Board Member of King & Wood Mallesons Australia, National EEO Partner, Partner Admissions Committee Member, Chair of Recruitment Committee, Sydney Centre Staff Partner and Competition Team Practice Leader.
Beyond her professional achievements, Trish is, foremost, a partner to Stephen and a mother to Daniel and Hannah – a family who have shown support to the work of CRBF over the past decade. Her understanding of family, resilience, and community brings a deeply personal dimension to her leadership.
Trish succeeds the Honourable Robert Beech-Jones, who now assumes the role of Patron, and Colin Brading, who has served effectively as interim Chair.
As we continue our mission to support young people living with sarcoma and their families, Trish’s appointment marks an important step forward in strengthening our leadership and growing our impact.
